To be specific, I streamed it for a friend that got stuck in an early section of the game and never got the chance to finish. Several years ago I also wrote my thoughts and feelings about it and, as I revisited a story that was very important to me, it occurred to me that it might be worthwhile to share those thoughts with others.
Let me preface by saying that I think that the game is extremely clumsy. The controls are frustrating, the voice acting for the lead is stilted and unnatural, and the puzzles can be obtuse or require way too much backtracking.
But I also think the game is incredibly beautiful.
That said, it'd mean a lot to me if you gave it a try. Even if you aren't gay. Even if you don't like horror. And if you do try it (whether you watch an LP or make the mistake of giving SWERY your money), it'd mean a lot to me if we could talk about it together for a while.
